Your main tasks would be:
Responsible for conceptualizing and leading the design of processes to support the Finance organization within CBRE as it relates to standardization of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process. Executes on initiatives and manages a team of direct reports who will support the architecting of financial processes and conducts detailed research via stakeholder meetings to identify where process improvements can be made. Reviews the quality of work and process improvement proposals of the team.
Designs and implement a risk-based User Acceptance Testing strategy for coordinating testing across our businesses and applications.
Establishes testing standards, scripts, training and coordination across all applications in scope and available users, ensuring timely delivery of test results and availability of testers.
With support from the business leadership, establishes and develops a UAT Subject Matter Experts (SME) pool in the business that can be leveraged as appropriate for testing.
Coordinates timing and execution of testing between Finance, D&T (IT) and FinPro.
Reviews process sequences, interactions, decision points, and roles as presented by their team and assesses the feasibility of those processes.
Evaluates and proposes process improvements (Waste elimination, Automation, RPA, Centralization near/offshore) and/or engineers new processes from the ground up.
Reviews the quality of work, proposed process improvements, and considers process problems as presented by their team. Provides feedback and advises next steps accordingly.
Works with process users to identify issues or pain-points. Conducts detailed research via stakeholder meetings to identify where process improvements can be made.
Defines and manages interfaces with other processes ensuring interdependencies and other factors are thoughtfully aligned.
Communicates process changes to the process users.
Communicates input requirements to internal suppliers.
Meets process output requirements of internal customers.
Monitors, measures, analyzes, and evaluates processes after implementation and/or in current state of execution.
Identifies process documentation/writing needs; communicates these needs to the Sr Manager and/or Director effectively.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Perfect candidate profile:
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Finance, IT, or a related field of study with a minimum of 5-7 year’s experience. Master’s degree preferred.
Experience with coordinating systems and processes testing required. Experience developing and leading testing efforts preferred.
User Acceptance Testing coordination experience a plus.
Experience with Peoplesoft, MS Dynamics or HFM a plus
Lean Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
Applies excellent written and verbal communication skills to accurately explain/report activity. Strong organizational and analytical skills.
Provides efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers.
Responds effectively to sensitive issues and work collaboratively with business partners, key employees, top management, and client groups on various projects.
Comprehends, analyze, and interpret complex financial information and transactions and accounting principles
