Analyst (Market Risk)

Project scope/domain:

• Participation in the creation of a brand-new team within Market Risk Department
• Development of company’s Risk system (Market risk management)
• Focus on building the process/system infrastructure
• Participate in UAT testing, introducing a process/building BAU based on regulatory deliverable
• Analytical type of work - no modelling or machine learning involved at this stage
• Domain: Risk concepts, credit risk understanding and experience in common grounds with Risk, Product control, Front office, Middle office
• Day to day work with Global markets, majority of positions relate to derivatives, need understanding on derivative products

Competence demands:

• Knowledge of Financial markets, Financial products, Risk concepts
• Good analytical skills with good attention to detail
• Understanding/ experience of VBA or Python
• Basic understanding e.g. what is an interest rate swap, what is an option, product definitions, risks associated, how to price different products
• Ability to work with large data sets
• Programming skills basics in SQL, Oracle is beneficial
• Fluent English
• Risk certifications nice to have or ie. CFA
